Life As A Lie

Look into his eyes, you'll see his tears

The pain he's been feeling, for so many years

You'll know how he feels, he's screaming inside

You'll see all the secrets, he's had to hide


Look at his heart, it's been broken in two

He can never go back, to the world he once knew

Its left in pieces, they lie on the floor

He knows life won't be, the same anymore


Look at his scars, he makes herself bleed

By cutting himself, he hopes to be free

He knows that after, it just makes it worse

He's trapped in himself, he can't stop this curse


When things get bad, he does it again

And hopes for a time, when his sadness will end

Look at his life, he didn't want this

Look at him sitting here, cutting his wrists


He missed so many years, he grew up too fast

He can't ever forget, he can't change the past

Look at his memories, none of them good

He can't wipe them away, he wishes he could


Look at his tears, as they flow down his face

Now he feels nothing, just stares into space

His pain is taking over, there's nothing he can do

My scars scream red,
